GAD ZUKES
Pop Rock Franco-British
Formed by 5 British brothers and sisters living in France, GAD ZUKES is a pop-rock band with typically British influences.
Their pop-rock compositions, at times punk, others folk, echo the best tradition of English rock.
Inspired by the great figures of music from across the Channel and even the Atlantic (The Clash, Queen, Tom Petty, The Dandy Warhols, ….), GAD ZUKES have built a sound of their own, between vocal harmonies and driving rhythms. As convincing in their catchy chorused energetic songs, as in the more introspective passages, including sensitive ballads, the siblings happily lead us into their world of shimmering colours.
The 2 sisters on vocals with the youngest brother, backed by the elder brothers on rhythm ; ensure a generous live performance, communicating and sharing with the audience their joy of being on stage as a family.
With 2 EPs and more than 100 concerts to their credit, GAD ZUKES has made a name for themselves in Brittany, their adopted land, by opening the « Pont du Rock » and « l’Armor Festival à Sons » and with a guest appearance on TF1 in the programme “Grand Reportage”.
